In prayer for Hilary Sullivan

Sat nam, Ang Sang Wahe Guru.
I am writing this post to send the word out a little bit further, as a prayer for the safe return of Hilary Sulivan, and also in gratitude for the sangat in which we live.
Hilary Sullivan, the mother of Bachan Kaur and Har Kirat Singh, Clare and Amelia, age 64 has been missing since May 11, 2008. She has short grey hair, blue eyes and glasses, prominent cheek bones and stands 5’8” tall at 185 lbs.
After last night’s vigil, and the combing of the endowment lands last, Bachan said to me in an email that she feels blessed to be part of such a loving and prayerful community. I feel that this heart breaking experience, more than anything has helps us all to see what great and infinite love is created through having our sangat and what power we have in our prayers and meditations.

I pray that all beings in the world may find the strength and love within them to know the beauty of their soul, and the worthiness of their unique purpose here on our planet.

We just received news through an e-mail from your Dad to all of us “extended family” cousins on the Sullivan side. We are at a loss for words to offer you all as we struggle to accept what we have heard. Bachan, Har Kirat, Clare, Amelia and Brian: We love you very much and hold you and beautiful Hilary in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Brian and Family, It is with great sorrow that I write this memo to you and your family. Hilary was an inspiration to our physiotherapy class as we worked hard together to complete our courses. Hilary’s laughter and kind words of mentorship will always stay with me. She was like the rudder of a ship in our class, and Bartholemu was such a beautiful baby during those years. Unfortunately, we lost direct touch over the last few years but kept in touch through Eva. May God give you and your family a peace beyond your understanding, that will touch your hearts and allow you to get through this horrible hour. Hilary, I will see you on the other side and we can then catch up.

Hilary was a door opener and an encouragement for many involved with family constellations. Her ability to laugh and be soundly grounded blessed me and I wanted to thank you for sharing her time with so many.
